Because of my apprenticeship training at the Swiss School of Violin Making under the direction of Hugo Auchli, the years I worked at Edward Withers in London for Dietrich Kessler and the time I have spent working as a professional instrument maker, I have extensive knowledge of my profession and of instruments from the violin and viola da gamba family. As a result, people come to me when they are looking for an instrument and ask for my advice and expertise.

Perhaps someone will show me an instrument they want to buy from a dealer, I can give them advice on the condition, the price etc., – my expertise is based on my experience, and I can bring it to bear to help you.
